Glove
Given a glove to experiment with, I decided to fill mine with acrylic paint and became fascinated with the bubbles that appeared in the folds of the plastic.
The aesthetics of the the original objects combined, plastic glove and red liquid are repulsive as they bring to mind blood and medical operations.
However in this piece I challenge the connotations of the aesthetics by making a pleasing image. I change the colours and layer multiple images together to create something resembling an abstract painting.
